Lindsay is located within Western Sydney. The electorate is home to a fast-growing population shaped by the Nepean River, the Blue Mountains foothills and a strong local sporting culture.

Lindsay includes the whole suburbs It also includes the suburbs of Berkshire Park, Cambridge Gardens, Cambridge Park, Castlereagh, Claremont Meadows, Colyton, Cranebrook, Dunheved, Glenmore Park, Jamisontown, Jordan Springs, Kingswood, Kingswood Park, Lemongrove, Llandilo, Londonderry, Mount Pleasant, North St Marys, Oxley Park, Penrith, Regentville, South Penrith, St Marys, Werrington, Werrington County, and Werrington Downs.

It also includes parts of Agnes Banks, Badgerys Creek, Luddenham, Mulgoa, and Orchard Hills.
